Rapid Chemical & Radiological Contaminant Removal for Skin, Gear & Surfaces
The MIRA Safety® CBRN Decontamination Wipe is a rapid-response, individually packaged wipe engineered for rapid neutralization and removal of chemical warfare agents (CWAs), toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), and radioactive particles from skin, gear, equipment, and hard surfaces.
Each wipe is impregnated with DeconDust™ technology, which rapidly neutralizes, adsorbs, or contains contaminants on contact. The viscose non-woven construction (100% rayon) delivers strong mechanical cleaning action while supporting effective decontamination performance. Classified as a Medical Device Class I in the EU for skin decontamination, these wipes are ideal for first responders, hazmat teams, healthcare staff, industrial workers, and anyone operating in high-risk environments.
Each wipe delivers fast, effective, and field-ready decontamination — even in life-critical scenarios where water is limited or unavailable.
Why You Need These CBRN Wipes
Instant Protection for Skin & Surfaces
Designated as a Class I non-sterile medical device, the wipe is approved for:
- Immediate decontamination of CWAs and TICs
- Small-area skin decontamination
- Decontamination of PPE, tools, regular and sensitive equipment & hard surfaces
It neutralizes and removes contaminants when exposure poses:
-
Primary risk to the individual, or
-
Secondary transfer risk to others
Proven Effectiveness (Field & Lab Testing)
? Tested on Chemical Warfare Agents
-
Sulfur Mustard (HD): Residual contamination is always below NATO permissible limits
-
HD & VX (with Decontamination Mitts): Residual contamination 0 µg/cm²
These results demonstrate that the wipes eliminate chemical threats down to safe, controlled, and measurable levels — critical for military, hazmat, and emergency response operations.
