The patent pending Tech Hook is probably the toughest and strongest grappling hook in the industry today. It was so impressive, that the US Army Engineers are replacing there decades old grapnel with the Tech Hook and it's variant the Laser Hook. Both hooks have seen action in the Iraq War.

Don't let its size fool you. During its break testing, the jig designed to hold the Tech Hook broke at 15,000 lbs. The machine operator said it could have withstood another 3000 to 5000lbs.

The Tech Hook strength lies in the fact that it is laser cut (not formed or bent) hardened steel and then welded together.
